Ms. Kallasch began her professional journey in 1999 at Dresdner Bank AG, where she specialized in investment structuring. Her journey then led her to Banque LBLux S.A. in Luxembourg in 2006, where she excelled in Business Development and Wealth Management.

In 2009 Ms. Kallasch founded Commodity Capital AG together with Tobias Tretter. Today, Ms. Kallasch is responsible for business development and strategic relationships with business partners, distributors, and investors.

TOBIAS TRETTER

MANAGING PARTNER AND CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Mr. Tretter began his career at Credit Suisse Asset Management and continued his practical experience in supporting the DJE Gold and Resources Fund of Dr. Jens Ehrhard group. Subsequently, he transitioned to the realm of self-employment, specializing in advising on raw material funds, and together with the fund management of the Stabilitas Fund, he achieved the award as “best gold fund 2006”.

In 2009, together with Dana Kallasch, Mr. Tretter founded Commodity Capital AG. In his role, Tobias oversees investment advisory, conducting in-depth analyses of mining companies complemented by practical insights gained from on-site visits.

CHRISTIAN NIEDERMEIER

CHIEF RISK OFFICER AND DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Mr. Niedermeier began his career in banking at Hypovereinsbank, and he was one of the founding partners of SWISS ALPHA AG - a regulated Swiss asset management firm focused on alternative investments (> USD 750M AUM) - holding roles as CIO and COO (including risk and compliance responsibility). Before joining Commodity Capital, he had several strategic advisory mandates in the field of asset management, family offices and financial firms with focus on GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) and product development topics (e.g. Luxembourg AIF/ UCITS and securitization).

At Commodity Capital AG Mr. Niedermeier is responsible for the Operations department and coordinates Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) matters, including outsourcing, for the company. He serves as the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) Responsible Officer.

ABID MUKHTAR

PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Mr. Mukhtar's career began in 1996 in Toronto at TD Waterhouse, where he concentrated on credit and risk management. Additionally, he played a key role in overseeing strategic projects for a major international bank and was a member of the Corporate Finance Team at KPMG in the U.K., specializing in M&A transactions in the international middle market. Upon returning to Toronto, Mr. Mukhtar pursued positions in investment banking with boutique firms, actively participating in transactions exceeding $500 million, primarily in the national and international mining and energy sectors.

At Commodity Capital AG, Mr. Mukhtar is responsible for strategically overseeing and managing investment portfolios to meet client objectives. As part of his role, together with Tobias Tretter, he conducts on-site visits to assess investment opportunities.

MICHAEL KOPF

Head of Sales Germany and Austria

Mr. Kopf brings many years of experience in the sales of investment products. He is a trained bank clerk and a certified securities specialist. After working at HypoVereinsbank and Dr. Jung & Partner (now JDC), he transitioned to the independent financial services market in 2001. From 2009, he led sales at Patriarch and successfully built business relationships in Germany and Austria. In 2022, he took on procuration and supported the management of Patriarch Multi-Manager GmbH.

At Commodity Capital, Mr. Kopf is responsible as Sales Manager for sales and relationship management in Germany and Austria.

RETO FRANK

Head of Sales Switzerland

Mr. Frank began his banking career at Zürcher Kantonalbank, where he worked as a proprietary trader and market maker across various security categories for over ten years. Following this, he held several roles as head of proprietary trading and market making, as well as head of Sales, before transitioning to the asset management industry as a portfolio manager for institutional portfolios. He then took on the responsibility of building up markets in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, and several Southern European regions for a medium-sized asset manager. Prior to joining Commodity Capital, he worked as an independent fundraiser for MedTech and BioTech start-ups and scale-ups.

At Commodity Capital AG, Mr. Frank serves as head of sales and is responsible for sales and relationship management primarily in Switzerland.

OLIVER DÄTWYLER

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mr. Dätwyler started his career as a Compliance & Regulatory Specialist at a Private Bank and later at KPMG. In 2007, he earned a diploma in Compliance Management (DAS). Following this, he spent several years as a Legal Counsel at Credit Suisse, specializing in OTC Derivatives, Securities Lending, REPO, and Precious Metals. He then transitioned to the role of Relationship Manager for the UHNWI Russia Desk at CS. From 2013 to 2017, Oliver contributed to UBS, where he worked at the UHNWI Russia and UK desk in Zurich, overseeing the market entry of a foreign-controlled bank in Switzerland. Alongside his role at Commodity Capital AG, Mr. Dätwyler serves as a board member at TREUFIN Reuter AG, holds a partner position in 1291 Group, and is a senior associate at Lexpert Partners AG.

At Commodity Capital AG Mr. Dätwlyer has a position as the President of the Board of Directors, providing leadership and guiding the strategic direction of the company.

Thomas Hügi's career began as a lawyer, holding a doctorate in law, at the Zurich-based law firm Homburger, followed by various management roles in sports marketing and software development. Currently, Mr. Hügi holds a position as a partner in a Zurich-based boutique law firm and is member of various boards of directors and management boards.

ELINA ESPO

Ms. Espo holds a recent B.S.c. degree in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, specializing in business development.
