Tobias Tretter
As Managing Director Tobias Tretter manages Commodity Capital AG with his many years of experience and expertise in the commodities sector. He supports the company as portfolio manager and Chief Investment Officer (CIO). He is responsible for the investment decisions of Commodity Capital Global Mining Fund, the selection and changes in the indexes and through his analysis of mining companies, he forms the basis of the long-term success of Commodity Capital AG.
Tobias Tretter gained his honours degree from Bayreuth University, where he wrote his practical thesis on the life cycle analysis for raw materials companies. This study, as well as various courses such as DITA (diploma of international technical analysis), form the theoretical background and the basis for his daily work. Tobias Tretter’s career began at Credit Suisse Asset Management and gained his practical experience guiding and supporting the DJE Gold and Resources Funds of the Dr. Jens Ehrhard Group. It achieved a "Best Gold Fund 2003" honour as well as showing independence in advising commodity funds. Together with Stabilitas fund management he was named "Best Gold Fund 2006”.
Bruno Locher
As an Executive Director, Bruno Locher supports Commodity Capital AG with his many years of management experience. He is mainly responsible for the organisation, controlling and IT aspects of Commodity Capital AG.
Bruno Locher started his over 30 year long career with the Union Bank of Switzerland in 1971 and after 15 years and various positions within the establishment joined Deutsche Bank (Switzerland) AG, where he was active for 23 years. During this period, Bruno Locher led the Asset Management in Zurich, and was ultimately the Business Manager responsible for the Central European Sector within International Private Wealth Management of Deutsche Bank.
